WEDDING.
FIELDING—BANNISTER. The marriage was solemnised at the Church of the Epiphany, Kuripuni, yesterday, the officiating minister being the Rev. Whitby James, Tinui, of Margaret Jean, fourth daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Bannister, Wharcama, and niece of Mrs. A. W. Cave, “ Nymphsfield, ” to Jack Fielding, second son of Mrs. Thomas, Otikairangi, Whangarei. Mrs. W. G. Perry acted as organist. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. R. Bannister, looked very charming in ivory georgette and silver lace, with the orthodox veil and orange blossom. The. bridesmaids, Miss Mary Street and Miss Ivy McMaster, wore heliotrope and green frilled ankle-length georgette respectively, with hats to match and silver shoes. The bride’s small piece, Helen Bannister, was flower girl and wore pink frilled georgette. Mr. George Street supported the bridegroom and Mr. Wilfred Wilkinson was groomsman. Many beautiful and costly presents were received. Later, the couple left for the north, the bride travelling in navy blue ensemble.
