PAHIATU.A EWE FAIR. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report: Wo held our, supplementary ewe fair at Pahiatua yesterday, when we offered a full yarding of ewes to a good attendance. Young ewes and good class 4 and 5-yr. ewes met with good competition, but aged and inferior ewes met with a dull sale. We made a total clearance as under:— A/c. R. Thomas, 4-yr. ewes, 25/1; a/c S. K. Raleigh, 4 and 5-yr. ewes, 21/7; a/c. R. W. Kebbell, 2-th ewes, 26/7: a/c. J. C. Bolton 2-th ewes 30/5; a/c. H. Cotter, 4-yr. ewes 21/3; 5-yr ewes 19/8; other vendors, 2-th ewes 23/6 to 27/8; 4 and 6-th ewes 28/3; 4 and 5-yr ewes 20/2 to 21/6. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on the above sale as follows:— A good, yarding of ewes was submitted to a ■large attendance. The quality of the yarding fell a good deal short of that offered at the previous fair and prices were in accordance with the quality. Following is the range of prices: Account J. W. Murray, 3G2 4 and 5-year ewes 18/6, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 23/9, 5 and 6-tooth ewes, 14/1; ac. C. A. Meech 2-tooth ewes 26/7, 4 and 6-tooth ewes 26/-, 4-year ewes 23/2; ac. C. A. Cameron, 201 m.a. ewes, .17/8; ac. W. Wright, 1713 f.m. ewes, 14/10; ac. J. Anderson, 4 and 5-year ewes, 19/-; ac. W. Parker, 4 and 5-year ewes, 18/2; ac. Nelson Bros., 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 27/-, 4 and 5-year ewes 20/-; ac. T. Anderson, 2-tooth ewes! 29/7.
