PROSPECTS FOR SEASON BRIGHT. SIX TEAMS COMPETING. The Patron, Mr. G. H. Perry, presided over a record attendance at the annual meeting of the Masterton Football Club held last night. The President, Mr. G. W. Sellar was also present. The enthusiasm and keen interest displayed by the large attendance augurs well for a most successful season for the lub. c The annual report and balance sheet, previously published in the "Age," were adopted. Logan, W. G. Lamb, A. Cameron, L. A. "Wadham, J. M. James, A. McDonald, J. Buchanan, C. A. Cameron, G. C. Williams, J. Leach, J. Judd (Jnr.), A. Torrance, J. C. Mackley; secretary Mr. R. J. Whiteman; treasurer, Mr. M. Manson; coaches: Senior, Messrs L. A. Wadham and D. K. Logan; junior, Mr. M. Fly; thirds, Mr. F. Groube; fourths, Mr. D. Pauling; fifths, Mr. J. Kennedy; sixths, Mr. H. Silvester. Delegates to Wairarapa Rugby Union: Messrs. W. G. Lamb, G. W. Sellar and L. A. Wadham; delegate to Memorial Park Board, Mr. L. A. Wadham; manage‘ment committee: Messrs. J. Kennedy, H. Maekley, M. Fly, G. Cornick, D. Pauling, F. Groube, H. Silvester, M. McMillan and C. L. Jackson. Last season’s teams will be strengthened by the addition of about thirty new members so that the prospects for the forthcoming season appear particularly bright It was decided to hold the opening practice of the season at Rugby Park on Saturday next, March 15, and also to enter six teams in the Wairarapa Rugby Union’s competition. Hearty votes of thanks were passed to Mr. H. Maekley, late secretary and Mr. F. H. Wright, hon. auditor.
