CARTERTON WIN BOOTH CUP. The Booth Cup was won by the Carterton Bowling Club on Saturday, when its rinks defeated the four Greytown rinks. In the A section, Carterton also won all four games against Masterton and are now equal with Masterton and Featherston for the Centre Shield. In the champion singles contest of the Carterton Club, Sorensen beat Kerr by one point. At the Mnsterton Bowling Club’s green on Saturday afternoon, the final of the champion pairs was played between B. Taylor and A. Chapman (s), and E. Brown and C. Perry (s). The game, which resulted in a win for the former pair, was an interesting one, as all the players were putting up good bowls. In a champion fours contest, Taylor, Mulvey, Finlayson and Morton (s) beat Thurston, Lett, Todd and Kerr (s), and McCracken, Blane, Brown, and Haycraft (s) beat Hendry, Blewitt. Chapman and Perry (a) .
