SWIMMING TESTS.

COMPETITION FOB MORRISON SHIELD.

The annual competition for the Morrison Swimming Shield for mem bers of the Y.M.C.A. Junior Department will be held in the Dixon Street Baths to-night, commencing at 7 o 'clock. The tests, of which there ®ight, are designed to encourage proficiency in swimming and other water work. The tests are: Best free ■tyle swim, best breaststroke, best of three dives, recovering plates from bottom of bath, bringing up heavy weight, towing a boy of own weight, swimming on back and swimming Under water. Parents and friends are invited to witness the tests. Mr. L. 'Williams will aet as judge.
