The late William McLeod of the “Sydney Bulletin,” a cablegram states, left an estate valued at £231,063. Miss Eva Barr, Church Street, and Miss Thelma Parr, Columba Road, also Miss Helen Philps, of Queenstown, leave by the Ulimaroa on Friday for a holiday tour in Auntnalia. Mias May Tinkhum, daughter of Mr and Mrs A. H. Tinkham, of Waiohine Valley, Carterton, having completed her training at the Wellington Hospital, has accepted a position as night superintendent on the staff of the Dannevirke Hospital.
