WEDDING.

INNES—GREATBATCH. A wedding of considerable interest took place at the Church of the G-ovd Shepherd, Tinui, on Wednesday, the contracting parties being Eileen Th Pima., youngest daughter of Mrs and the late Mt. S. Greatbatch, and Jack, eldest son of Mrs and the late Mr. George Innes, of Castlepbint. The Rev. H. Whitby James conducted the service, which was 4 choral one, the church being beautifully decorated for the occasion with arum lilies, camelias and spring flowers. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. F. B. Kempton, of Greytown, wore a frock of cream chenille and silver lace. A posy of orange blossoms adorned the .shoulders and the veil was of white tulle, finely embroidered and caught at each side of the head with orange blor■soma. She carried a sheaf of arum lilies. The bride was attended by her sister, Mrs R. Allan, as matron of honour and Miss Lulla Inr.es, sister of the bridegroom, as bridesmaid, who wore frocks of powder blue crepe-de-chene with hats to match. Mr. W. Innes was best man and Mr. G. Speedy groomsman. Miss Langdon presided at the organ. About seventy guests were entertained at a reception held later in the Tinui Hall. The happy couple were the recipients o£ many beautiful presents, including several cheques. Mj. and Mrs Innes left later by motor for an extended tour of the South Island, the bride travelling in a brown, coatfrock, with hat and shoes to tone.
