DBAW FOB DOMINION TOURNEY AT GISBORNE. BIG ENTRIES RECEIVED. WELLINGTON, August 7. The total entries for the Ladies’ Dominion Hockey Tournament at Gisborne of 14 provincial teams are considerably in advance of those for the previous tourney held at Gisborne and are considered to have been exceeded only once previously anywhere, in 1927, when 18 teams entered the tournament then being held in Palmerston North. The average total at the tourneys is from eight to ten teams. The following is the sectional draw:— Section A. —August 29: Rotorua v. Bush; Ruahine-Dannevirke v. Auckland A; Poverty Bay A v. Poverty Bay A; Rotorua, a bye. September 3: Bush v. Southland; Ruajune-Dannevirke v. South Canterbury; Rotorua v. Auckland A; Poverty Bay A a bye. September 3: Poverty Bay A v.
