HOW VOTERS ARE HELPED TO DECIDE. MUSSOLINI’S PERSUASIVE , WAY. ALMOST A CLEAN SWEEP. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegro'oh—Copyright. (Received Mondav, 10.45 p.m.) ROME, March 24. A Gilbertian general election has apparently ended In the Fascists gaining four hundred seats and the anti-Fascists none. The majority for Mussolini is four hundred. Each of the nine million electors , received two ballot papers, one col- . mired white, red and green, and the other plain white. The latter contained the word “no” after the question: “Are You in Favour of the Fascist list of Candidates?” Few voters had the courage to hand in a white paper. An overwhelming majority of the papers returned were coloured, signifying “yes.”—(Australian. Press Association.) “POLLING” FIGUBHB. (Received This Day, 0.30 a.m.) ROME, March 24. Virtually complete figures show that out of 9,650,000 electors, 8,650,000 voted. A total of 8,506,000 was in favour of the Government’s list, and 136,000 against it.—(Australian Press Association.—United Service.)
