WAIRARAPA SHOW LAMBS.
LON3ON COMMENTS. STANDARDS OF QUALITY [ PRAISED. At Saturday’s meeting of the Wairarapa P. and A. Society, at Carterton. Messrs. Henry Fitter & Sons, Ltd., of London, forwarded their judgment and report on the Show tambsi and in doing so congratulated the society on the excellent quality and evhn run of these I exhibits. The report reads in part: . “Taking the first place as the stand- ’ ard, the rest were very little below this , and our remarks must be taken, as extremely critical. The fact was that I after the first three pens there was [very little to choose between the rest, land in many cases it was a matter of personal opinion, which we proved by i asking one or two experienced retailers after thq, lambs had been judged. The earcases arrived in very good condition,’and, as we stated in last vear’s report, this class of meat is ideal from the retailer’s point of view.
