READY FOR ATTACK
IMPOSING ARRAY OF NAVAL VESSELS. TWO ENTIRE FLEETS TAKING PART. 120,000 MEN PARTICIPATING. United Press Association. —By Electric Telegro jh—Copyright. (Received Sunday, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, March 16. An Australian Press Association message from H.M.S. Marlborough, at Pollensa Bay, states that the Atlantic Fleet is an imposing spectacle, anchored prepared for an attack on the Mediterranean Fleet on Sunday. The Commander-in-Chie of the Atlantic Fleet, has issued the attacking orders from the flagship Nelson. This is a great mimic battle between the Atlantic Fleet, representing one Power, and the Mediterranean Fleet, representing another. It involves battleships, cruisers, destroyers, submarines, mine-layers, and aircraft, totalling approximately 120,000 men. The captains held a conference with the officers this morning and the most modern tactics were discussed and the battle problem laid out. The Mediterranean Fleet is convoying troops, which the Atlantic Fleet will endeavour to intercept. A battle lasting two days has been planned, in which the British Fleets will test out the most modern warfare.— (Australian Press Association.)
