A very pretty wedding of much interest was solemnised at Knox Church on Saturday, the Rev| John Davie officiating, the contracting parties being I Alexa, youngest daughter of Afrs A. [Stewart, Esiox Street, and Alfred T. ■J. Shaw, of Wellington. The bride, looking very charming In a frock of
shell-pink beaded georgette and wearing a beautiful tulle veil, with coronet of orange blossoms, was given away by her brother in-law, Mr F. Johnston. She carried a bouquet of lillies of the I valley and pink carnations. Her two ''nieces, the Misses Jean Johnston ’l(Turakina) and Lesley Stewart (Wellington) attended her as brideomaide and their frocks were of azure blue georgette? Little Alargaret Matthews (Hamilton) made a «weet flower-girl, her dness being pink frilled georgette. They all carried posi-ee to tone. Dr. Graham Robertson acted as beet man end Afr R. Afilne as gioommnan. After ■ the ceremony, Mr# Stewart entertained I .ter gueets at dinner at the Midland rl Hotel, wearing a smart gown of black •|«at*n beeute and creme georgette, with I hat ti match and carrying a bouquet
lof purple flowers. Amongst the guests ’were the sisters of the bride, F. Johnston fTurakina), F. R. FT. Brice (Marton), dive Matthoww Hamilton) and W. W. Chamber# (East[bourne) and the Messrs Brice, Johnston, Chambers and Matthews.
