; OPENING OF SEASON NEXT SATURDAY
The opening of the 1929 season of •the Masterton Golf dub will take place next Saturday, when members and visitors will be- the guests of Mr and Mrs H. S. Williams.
I Mixed foursomes will be played and members will arrange their own partners and opponents .
Special arrangements have been (made regarding the competition fees a flat rate being charged for the seaison. Adjustments will be made for players who do not take part m the Saturday competition®. During the season a ladder competition will be or ganised and in. -selecting representative teams the position of players on the ladder will be taken into consideration.
