MASTERTON SALE Th: 1 New Zealand Farmer s’ Co-op-erative Distributing Co., Ltd., report on their Mastcrtou sale as follows: We has a good yarding of sheep and a fair number of cattle- which were offered to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was good for all classes, and we disposed of our whole entry as follows: Forward b.f. lambs, 225. 7d to 23s Id; good woolly wether lambs, 22 s Sd; medium shorn wether lambs, 18s 2d; small woolly lambs, 18s; cull lambs, 13s 3d; store ewes, 15s 6d; fat wethers, 30s 7d; 20 2-J-year steers, £lO ss. The Wairarapa Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Association Ltd., stock department, report as follows: A small yarding of sheep were offered to the usual attendance of buyers, prices being a shade easier than at recent sale's reports. We report: 256 f.m. ewes, 21s; 21 tail end do, 13s 3d; 123 b.f. lambs, 18s; 5 fat ewes, 21s.
