COBHAM’S PLANS.

SUMMER TOUR OF BRITAIN BY AIR. EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN. LONDON, January 4. Sir Alan Cobham proposes during tho summer a flying-boat tour of Britain, bringing flying to every boy and girl on the coast, including essay competitions on the subject of the air routes of the world and their relationship with the development of peace and progress, and giving the successful competitors free flights. He says that they will find flying will enable them to visualise the scenery, rivers and towns along any route. He could visualise the whole scenery of his routes to Australia and round Africa. Such impressions became permanent, and gave one a complete conception of the geography of a country or continent.—(“The Times” cable.)
