CORONER’S INQUEST OPENED EVIDENCE OF IDENTIFICATION An inquest concerning the death of Cyril Roland Gurr,, who was killed on. the Masterton-Carterton Road on Saturday night when aicar driven by Ray Hausmann crashed into a concrete wing of a small bridge was opened before the District Coroner, Mr E. G. Eton yesterday afternoon. Mr. H. E. Hart watched tho proceedings on behalf of the Wairarapa South County Council. Alan John Gurr, mechanic, residing at Matahoura, Hawke’s Bay, brother of the deceased, gave evidence of identification. On the application of Sergeant Dyer tho inquest was adjourned sine die.
