Major (26), 1 down; Mrs Horner (22), 5 down.
Ovdr 12 holes: Miss N. McKay (handicap 24), 5 up; Miss E. Donald (24), 1 up; Miss D. Cameron (24), 4 down.

MEN’S GAMES DANNEVIRKE TOURNEY DANNEVIRKE, August 10. The Dannevirke golf tournament was continued in glorious weather. A feature of the tournament is Kapi Tareha's consistent and brilliant form. He has done three rounds of 7£ and one of 74. Goss, winner of the champ ionship last year, was defeated in the second round by Fryer. In the Southern Hawke’s Bay Championship semi finals to-morrow morning Fryer (Napier) meets Black (Wellington) and Green (Dannevirke) meets Tareha (Napier). In the senior finals for the Dannevirke handicap MacGregor (Masterton) meets Schlajiders (Wellington) and Mackie (Woodville) meets Martin (Martinborough.) The finals will be played to-morrow afternoon. —(P.A.)
