TUNNEY ENGAGED.
MATCH WITH WEALTHY HEIRESS GREENWICH (Connecticut), August 8. Mrs. Katharine Rowlands Lauder, a wealthy society woman, has formally announced the engagement of her heiress and daughter, Mary Josephine, grand-niece of the late Andrew Carnegie, to Gene Tunney. The wedding will occur late in the autumn. Tunney and the Lauders are now in Canada.— (Australian Press Association.)
