(Received Wednesday, 8 p.m.) SYDNEY, June 6. The steamer Kamo, on the Tasmanian service, is the latest to be involved in the cooks’ strike. The cooks on board gave twenty-four hours’ notice. This has accordingly been done, and cargo vessels now involved are the Murada, Weir, Burwah, Time, Kooliga, and the collier Ashridge. Although the Tasmanian passenger service is not yet affected, it is believed that by the end of the week the cooks will be directed to give notice on both the vessels now running, tho Loongana and Oonah.—(P.A.)
