TRUST ELECTION.

THREE RETIRING MEMBERS RETURNED. A VERY SMALL POLL. The poll taken yesterday for the re. turn of three representatives on the Masterton Trust Lands Trust, resulted in the election pf the three retiring members, Messrs. D. Caselberg, W. H. Jackson and R. Krahagen by substantial majorities over Mr. P. A. Macomish, the other candidate. Very little interest was taken in the election, however, only 541 voters exercising their rights out of a total number on the roll of about 4500. Details of yesterday’s poll are as follow: —

The polling booths indicated in the above table are: M, Municipal Hall; T._ Lansdowne; R, Railway; K, Knripuni; and F, Fernridge. Two informal votes were cast at the Municipal Hall.

Mr P. A. Macomish elsewhere thanks those who voted for him yesterday.
