Copies of the Balance Sheet have also been deposited at the Mauriceville Post Office and at the residence of Mr C. O. Hodgins, at Ihuraua, where it may also be inspected on application. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 54 of “The Rating Act, 1925“ that it is the intention of the Mauriceville County Council at its Meeting, to be held at the County Office, Mauriceville, on SATURDAY, the 9th day of June, 1928, at 11 o’clock a.m., to make and levy a General Rate of Five Farthings in the Pound on the Capital Value of all Rateable Property in each Riding of the said County, for the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1929, such Rates to become payable on the 9th day of July, 1928, at the County Office, or at my Office, Academy Buildings, Masterton, and that the Valuation Rolls are open for inspection.
