POT HOLES.
t (To the Editor.) Sir, Will you‘kindly give me spaed in your widely-circulated paper to utter! an angry word against our council foe allowing Johnston Street to become such a deplorable disgrace. It is nof nt to be called a road; it is really dangerous, as motorists have to take a zig-zag course to dodge the holes, and cyclists take the footpath to their risk or rupning into school children. The council have no excuse, as the street runs only a few chains from their gravel dump Trusting these holes will soon be filled in, Mr. Overseer, and no more car springs broken, and thanking you, Mr. Editor, for space—l am, etc * “ MOTORIST. ’ ’’’
