FORCE FOR SAMOA.
A MILITARY ORGANISATION CHRISTCHURCH, April 5 It is stated here that the duty of the Samoan military force will bo to relieve the detachment of Royal Marines left in Apia when the cruisers Diomede and Dunedin returned to New Zealand. Tho new force will be approximately seventy strong, and will be a military organisation. It will be under the command of Major P. H. Bell, at present Staff Offlcer-in-Charge of the Dunedin Regimental District. With him will be two other officers, also drawn from New Zealand Staff Corps.—(P.A.).
