BUILDING SOCIETIES.

DIRECTORS MEET. WORKERS’ MUTUAL BENEFIT. A meeting of directors of the Workers ’ Mutual Benefit No. 1 Building Society was held last evening. There were present, Messrs. R. Krahagcn (chairman), G. Hyde, J. C. Ewington and T. 8. Cresswell. The treasurer reported a credit balance of £ll7l 19s. No. 2 SOCIETY. Subsequently, a meeting of the No. 2 Society was held, the same directors being present, and in addition, Messrs. A. J. Briden, A. W. McKenzie. J. A. Bussell and A. H. Eddy. A credit balance of £3319 Bs. sd. was disclosed. The application of a shareholder for his appropriation of £4OO to be offered Bale at the next appropriation, and that of two other shareholders for transfer of shares were granted. A refrom another shareholder to Sanction the surrender of one share, •nd have amount paid on the share placed to the credit c/f the remaining •hare was also granted. A ballot and sale of £BOO will be held on June 30, and also a sale of £4OO.
