MAURICEVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL KAIPORORO HOAD LOAN OF £2OO. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Special Meeting of the Mauriceville County Council, held at the County Office at noon on the 9th day of April, 1927, the following resolution was duly passed and will be submitted for confirmation at a Meeting of the said Council, to be held at the County Office at no (Hi on the 14th day of May, 1927. THAT in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it by Section 1 7of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1920, and of dll other Acts and powers (if any) it in that behalf enabling and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Kaipororo Road Special Rating Area in the County of Mauriceville testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said Special Rating Area tho capital values of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County are collectively greater than the capital values of, the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent the Mauriceville County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows:— • I.—THAT the Council proceed to raise a loan of Two hundred pounds 1 (£200) for the purpose of metalling . Kaipororo Road. ! 2.—THAT such loan be called “The i Mauriceville County Kaipororo Road i Special Rating Area Loan of £2OO, 1926.” i 3.—THAT the currency of the said • loan shall be for a period of twenty (20) years commencing on the first day i of December, 1926, and maturing on tho ’ first day of December, 1946. I 4.—THAT the interest on, the said | loan shall be at the rate of Six pounds ' (£6 0s Od) per centum per annum and shall be payable half-yearly on the first day of June and December in each and every year. j S.—THAT the form of security for I the payment of principal and interest on the said loan shall be one (1) deben- ; ture of two hundred pounds (£200) and , relative coupons in a form in eemform- • ity with the provisions of tho Local Bodies Loans Act 1926. J 6.—THAT the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and the ' interest sinking fund and other charges thereon the special rate of three farth- ’ inga (id) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property I in the Kaipororo Road Special Rating 'Area in the County of Mauriceville. 7. —THAT the principal and interest shall be payable at the Bank of New Zealand. Wellington. 8. —THAT the cost of raising the Joan pud the interest and sinking fund for the first year of the said loan during the construction of the work be paid out of the loan. DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the partnership hitherto subsisting between the undersigned and carried on at Masterton and Martinborough under the firm name of “Gawith, Logan, Biss & Wilson” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 14th day of April, 1927. As from that date Mr. D. K. Logan will practise his profession on his own account in offices i« the A.M.P. Buildings (ground floor), Perry Street, Masterton. Tho remaining partners, Messrs. 8. R. Gawith, H. R. Biss and G. D. Wilson will continue to practise in partnership at Masterton and Martinborough at the offices previously occupied by the former partnership under the firm name of “Gawith, Biss & Wilson.” All accounts owing to the former partnership of Gawith, Logan, Biss & Wilson are payable to Messrs.
