STORM DAMAGE IN SYDNEY.

MEMORIAL TO LATE GOVERNOR SHATTERED. (Received Friday, 8.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 22. Amongst the destruction wrought by the storm was the shattering of a memorial to the late State Governor, Sir Walter Davidson, erected by public subscription in South Head Cemetery at a cost of several thousand pounds. The column was smashed in several pieces, badly damaging the base.—(P.A.)
