ISLANDER RUNS AMOK.

AFFRAY ON MISSION STEAMER. SYDNEY, April 20. Scarcely had the missionary steamer John Williams passed through the worst of the violent gale off Broken Bay when one of the native “boys” ran amok. After almost cutting off the head of one of his companions with a razor, he savagely attacked another and inflicted serious injurieZ He is now in a critical condition. The ship’s officers, attracted by the commotion in tho “boys” quarters, rushed below. The assailant submitted quietly, and. offered no resistance when put in irons. On the arrival of tho vessel in port, the wounded man was.-taken to hospital and his attacker arrested.—(P.A.)
