PLUNKET SOCIETY.
MASTEBTOW BRANCH. EXTENSION OF ACTIVITIES. A meeting of the committee of the Masterton Plunket Society was held yesterday. There were present: Mesdames Bullock (chair), T. .WJLrdell, J. Caselberg, D. Donald, T. Jordan, R. Judd, H, E. Davis, F. W. Martin, H. Cunningham, T. F. Watson, J. Cocker and G. J. Goldsman. Apologies were received from Mesdames L. B. Maunsell, Drummond, D. McKay, J. W. MacLean, Mac Diarmid, H. Daniell, J. H. Kane and H. Dawson. Mesdames B. D. Ashcroft, Hugh Morrison and Andrew were appointed a sub-committee for Tinui and district. It was arranged that members the committee should form a sub-branch at Mauriceville on Saturday. The nurse’s report for the month showed: Visits to office, 551; visits to homes, 172; emulsion sold, 271 b. Mauriceville and. Kopuaranga were visited three times, Tinui twice and Oqfstlepoint once. Gifts were acknowledged as follows: Clothing, Mesdames Drummond and Miller; clothing and apples, Mrs. Elliott; apples, Mrs. Collier; Mrs. Falloon, £l.
