WELLINGTON SUBURBS TOURNEY WON BY MASTERTON. WELLINGTON, April 19. The Masterton rink (E. Perry, J. C. Ewington, H. Perry and another) to day won the final of the Eastern Suburbs bowling tournament, defeating Thorndon (Hutton, Do Tourette, Baker and Naylor) by 29 to 5. Earlier in the day Perry boat MeWhannell (Ilatai tai) 16-12 in the opening round of post-section play, apd then defeated Brightling (Hataitai) in the semi-final by 26-17.—(P.A) NELSON CHAMPIONSHIP. WON BY J. PORTEOUS. NELSON, April 19. The final of the bowling tournament was won by a rink skipped by J. Pdrteous (Wellington) who boat Wilkinson (Nelson). —(P.A.).
