The shooting season-will be opened this year on Monday, May 2. The usual opening date is May 1, but by the legislation on the subject shooting on the first day of the season, if it happens to be a Sunday, is not allowed, although it is permitted on all other Sundays during the season. The law being it is, the rangers will'be ready to greec those who mistakenly think that the season opens as usual this year on May 1. The rangers will also be ready for those who disregard the regulation which does not allow shooting take place earlier than one hour before sunrise, or later than one hour after sunset.
