CARTERTON SALE. The 'N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Co. report: We held our usual weekly sale at Carterton on Friday, when, we offered approximately 700 sheep to a good attendance of buyers, and with the exception of a line of 60 aged ewes made a total clearance at the following prices: 55 medium 2-th. ewes ’ 175., 21 2-th. ewes 17s. 6d., 40 2-th. ewes 20s. 7d., 71 s.m. ewes 12s. Id., 64. s.m. ewes 13s. 6d., 43 for. ewes 9»., 10 for. ewes 9s. 6dd, 56 cull ewes ss. 10d., 25 small 2-th. wethers 14s. 5d., 17 med. 2-th. wethers 16s. 9d., 18 2-th. wethers 20s. 3d., 21 2-th. wethers 215., 55 medium, lambs Ils., 22 wether lambs 16s. 2d., 31 ewe lambs 16s. Bd., 40 cull lambs 9s. 4d. MT. BRUCE SALE. The N.Z. Farmers’ Co-operative Distributing Co., Ltd., report having held their annual sale at Mt. Bruce whew they offered a fair yarding of sheep to a good attendance. Bidding was dull for ewes but they report the following sales:-—llO 4-yr. ewes on a/c. N. R. Wyeth 20s. 6d., 40 4 and 5-yr. ewes. 15s. Bcl., 213 5-yr. ewes on a/c. L. Matthews 13s. 6d., 48 2-th. ewes on a/c. H. H. Christensen 205., fat b.fs’. 215., aged ewes 10s. 5d., Ils., Ils. 6d. to 12s. Bd., medium shorn, w.f. lambs 12s. 7d., aged S.D. rams 23gns., 1 shear Rom. rams 24gns.
