NEW SOUTH WALES LOTTERIES. SYDNEY, March 4. '.The New South Wales Ministry has agreed on a scheme for financing hospitals. It is proposed to give the Government power in a Hospitals Bill tol conduct lotteries, and these will probably be on the lines of a scheme now operating by the Queensland Government. Further provision will be made by way of industrial contributions towards the upkeep of hospitals, employees taxing themselves by allowing a reduction from their weekly wages. The Bill will make it compulsory for employers and employees to contribute tr. the financing of these institutions. The Bill will be introduced into the Assembly next week.—(P.A.)
