APPEAL BOARD PERSONNEL.

WELLINGTON, March 3. The following Appeal Board has been up to hear appeals in connection with the grading or classification of secondary and technical school teachers: A. D. Thompson (chairman); W. M. Bird and T. B. Strong (representations of the Education Department); T. Brodie and F. H. Campbell (representing the teachers); H. A. Jones and B J. Thompson (representing the Technical School teachers). —(P.A.). (Though primary school teachers have for some years had an appeal board, secondary school teachers, hitherto have had their appeals considered by an adjudicator attached to the staff of the Education Department. On the other hand, the Technical School teachers have enjoyed the right of appeal to a board since they were brought under a grading scheme about six years ago.).
