PROMOTIONS AND PRIZES.. The annual examination held at To AVharau school resulted in the following promotions being made for the year 1927:—Stfl. 4: Isabel McKinstry, Bert Schofield, Arthur Farley. Std. 3: Fred McKinstry. Std. 2: Colin Schofield, John Farley. 1\ 4: Bobbie King, Jim Farley. P. 3: Ella Burr. '
Two prizes for general improvement donated by Mr W. Kummer were awarded to Arthur Farley and Ella Burr.
This school having been closed for a considerable time and only re-open-cd this year, the children are to be commended on the splendid work they have done.
