COMPELLED TO RESIGN. GERMAN MINISTER’S ACTION. - BERLIN, October .6 General von Seeekt has been compelled to resign the command of the Reichswehr because he permitted Prince Wilhelm, the ex-Crown Prince’s eldest sgn, to attend the September manoeuvres without consulting Dr. Gessler, Minister of Defence. The latter refused to defend General von Seeekt's action against Radical and Socialist attacks, which was regarded as meaning that he declines to countenance Hohenzollerns serving in the army.—(A, and N.Z.)
