OTAGO BEAT SOUTH AUCKLAND. HAMILTON, August 11.—Pflaying in Hamilton to-day, the Otago League touring team defeated South Auckland by 30 points to 10. The grounds were in splendid order. The match attracted a large number of spectators. I During the first spell the game at times was patchy. The half-time scores were South Auckland 10, Otago 5. Play brightened up on resumption. Otago played a fast open game and had the advantage throughout.—(P.A.).
