Tilton, Pikihuia, Featherston. writes:— [ “I crop as much as 100 acres .during a year, including grain crops. As for "EPHOS” I have one paddock of 40 acres which has been cropped for seven years; first year was a crop of Swedes, then for the following three years this paddock was cropped with Oats and harvested; the following year with Rape, and fattened 1200 lambs (and a dry season it was, too); the following year one half was sown in Imperial Green Globe Turnips and half in Rape. Each year these crops had IJcwt of EPHOS per acre. This last season there were 2cwt. per acre of EPHOS put with Rape and Grass seed; and I wish to say that both Rape and Grass show the great value of EPHOS. “I am pleased to say that I had 20 acres of Oats and have 40 ; acres of Turnips, bith good, sown with EPHOS. > “Seeing the great results a neighbour has got through topdressing grass land with EPHOS, I am now doing likewise.” “EPHOS” contains no less than sixty pounds weight of Phosphate in every one hundred pounds weight of the fertilizer supplied. ‘T PHOSPHATE IS WHAT THE SOIL REQUIRES.
