Masterton. —Mr. R. Brown reported at 9 a.m. as follows:—•

August 7.—Barograph, 29.56, unsteady, fell to 29.17 yesterday morning. Shade temperature, maximum 52.6, minimum 40.4, terrestrial 35.8; rain, 49 points; bright sunshine 6hrs 25min.
