I MASTERTON CLUB RESULTS. On Saturday afternoon, a medal competition was played on the Lansdowne links. The best card handed in was: Dr. Moser, handicap 10, nett score 80. DANNEVIRKE TOURNAMENT. TAREHA BEATS BIDWILL ONE UP IN FINAL. DANNEVIRKE, August 7.—The Dannevirke golf tourney concluded in fine weather, Kapi Tareha (Napier) defeating J. C. Bidwill (Wairarapa) in the final of the Southern Hawkes Bay championship by one up. The game was closely contested although both players have played much, better golf. The Dannevirke Handicap was won by J. Hope (Dannevirke), E. Lees being runner-up.
J. Goss (Wanganui) from scratch won the trophy for the best net score with 80.—(P.A.).
