Secondary B and Primary B: St. Bride’s teams, northern champions, journeyed south on Friday to play the Grey town teams, champions in the Southern division. The games resulted: Secondary B: St. Bride’s 22, Greytown 10; Primary B: St. Bride’s 24, Greytown 4. Both gamps were fast and open, and were characterised by short, accurate passing. In the primary game the Greytown players were kept on the defensive for the greater part of the time, but were wonderfully nimble, and the ball was cleverly handled by both sides. The same teams will again meet at St. Bride’s Convent for the final games.
