THE PRINCE’S WISH.

BETTER TIMES FOR ALL. MESSAGE TO EX-SEBVICE MEN. LONDON, Jan. I.—The Prince of Wales, as patron of the British Legion, sent through the Legion’s journal to all ex-Servico men nad the widows and dependents of the fallen, all his very best wishes for 1926. He says he has now had the privilege of travelling through tne British Commonwealth of Nations, and seen an enormous number of ex-Serviec men and women, also widows and dependents, who were kind enough to come to greet him. He rejoices to realise that the same spirit of loyalty and affection to their country and the Em pire prevails in the countries he visited as is the case here in the Old Country. He says: “May the New Year bring you all better times, and thus reward you for all you and yours have done, is my very sincere wish.”—(A. and N.Z.)
