MASTERTON BOWLING CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. There were about 35 members present at the annual meeting of the Masterton Bowling Club last night, Mr D. F. Thurston presiding. The annual report and balance sheet (already published in “The Jfge”) were adopted. It was decided that a debenture of £25 be paid off. Officers. The following officers were elected: President, Mr B. p. Holmwood; vicepresident, Messrs W. Neilsen and G. Hayne; hon treasurer Mr J. Reynolds; hon. secretary, Mr fierce dotter; hon. auditor, Mr J. H. McCalden; general committee, Messrs A. W. Chapman, J. Kerr, W. Hendry, A. Hendry and C. Tyrrell; selector, Mr C. Tyrell; match committee, Messrs G. Hayne, W. Hendry, C. Tyrrell; board stewards, [ Messrs J. O. Ewington and C. Tyrrell; delegates to centre, Messrs F. J. Staples, G. Hayne, and C. Tyrrell. Subscriptions were fixed at £4 (reducible to £3 10/ if paid before December 31) for active and 10/ for honorary members.
It was decided to have all scoring boards re-painted. , It was resolved that the competitions be the same as last season, and that an honours board, bearing the names of all past club champions, be erected in the pavilion.
