Mr T. Paton, supervisor of the terton Telegraph Engineer’s Office, has received advice of his promotion to a similar office in Napier. Captain H. W. Martyn-Roberts (Masterton), of the Hawkes Bay, Regiment, has been awarded the Colonial Auxiliary Forces Officer’s Deco* ration. • Mr I. Blissett, a vice-president of tho Wairarapa Miniature Rifle Association, is in the Greytown. Hospital suffering from pneumonia and was unable to be present at the annual tournament on Saturday.
