ON WELSH SYSTEM. GOVERNMENT ACTION.. TIMABU, July 27.—At a public meeting to-night, addressed by Sir Harry Reiehel, at which Dr. Marsden, Assistant Director of Education, was present, it was announced that the New Zealand Government had called Sir H. Walford Davies, Director of Musio for the Welsh University, asking him to recommend two men, qualified to arrange a ’curriculum for the tuition of music in New Zealand similar to that in Wales.—(PA..)
