A CHEMIST’S DEATH.
OVERDOSE ©F DRUG. TO INDUCE SLEEP. AUCKLAND, April 15.—At the inquest into the death of Donald Cameron, of Hamilton, chemist, evidence was given that at the hospital deceased said he had had a good deal of worry and had taken seven grains of morphia to induce sleep. He was not in the habit of'taking drugs and there was no indication of any suicidal intent. The Coroner found that death was due to morphine poisoning from an overdose of morhpia taken to induee sleep.—(P.A.)
