MARAMA’S CREW PLAYS UP. SOME ABSENT EACH DAY. (Received 8.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 15. —The Marama is still held up. This morning it was found that there were eight members of the crew absent, and there was nd response to a call at the shipping master’s office for men to fill the vacancies.

Each day it is found that different members of the crew are absent, and although in the vicinity of the wharf they decline to go aboard and will give no reason for their action.— (P.A.)
