V MISS McMILLAN THROWN. (Receiver, 8.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, April 15.—The show concluded in dull, cold weather. During the equestrienne events over Hurdles Miss Vera McMillan’s mount Bhied at a hurdle, throwing her to the ground with terrific force. She was taken to the hospital suffering from a badly fractured collarbone and probable other injuries.—(P.A.)
