HOSIERY MILLS.

EARLY ESTABLISHMENT IN MASTERTON.

At a meeting of directors of the Masterton Spinning and Hosiery Co, Ltd., held last evening, definite arrangements were completed for th* early establishment of the indu stiy, which promises to be of indisputable advantage to the town of Masterton. Tho directors have been most careful in their decision, and are of the opinion that the industry will prove highly lucrative to shareholders and of general benefit to the business of tho town. The next step is the acquisition of a site of about half an acre very close to the town. Several are already under consideration. Commitments will be entered into at once for the necessary plant, and the building will be erected in the near future. The statutory meeting will be held in due course, when shareholders will be acquainted with all details.
