MISSING SCHOONER FOUND.

AFTER PROTRACTED VOYAGE. TASMANIA TO SYDNEY. (Received 8.40 p.m.) Sydney, Oct. 30.—The schooner Cathkit was sighted off Sydney this morning and later towed into port after a protracted voyage of 54 days from Tasmania. As the result of storms she was driven back into Bass Straits three times. She subsequently sprang a leak, but the cargo of t imber prevented serious consequences. The crew kept hard at work at the pumps in face of the continued rough weather and high seas.— (P.A.)
