METEOROLOGICAL.
Present indications are for strong and squally north-westerly to southwesterly winds; weather changeable and showery, especially on all the West Coast and southern districts; barometer rising everywhere- soon. Masterton.—Mr B. Brown reported at 9 a.m. yesterday:—Barograph 29.84, unsteady; shade temperature, maximum 59.6, minimum 33.6, terrescnal 30.6, frost 1.4, rain .32 points, bright sunshine 2hrs smin.
Solway.—Mr H. M. Boddington reports that. 35 points of rain fell at Solway up to 9 a.m. yesterday.
